BPW North Sarasota Honors 2025 Women of The Year

Business and Professional Women of North Sarasota recognized their 2025 Women of the Year at the 18th Annual H’attitude Scholarship Luncheon and Hat Show on Saturday, March 29th at Michael’s on East. Joan Bolden, Selina G. Bradley and Julie Leach were recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the Sarasota and Manatee communities.

Bolden worked i n public service in local government for over 32 years of public service in local government, with approximately 25 of those years have been in supervision/management. She works a t MCR Health as Patient Services Trainer. Bradley is a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. She founded The Selina G. Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and is an accomplished author and mentor, empowering others through education, resilience, and financial growth. Leach is the Executive Director of Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, after serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for five years. She is a Past President and Treasurer at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota, where she has been a member with a deep involvement in its social justice work.

Norrece Wright was this year’s committee chairperson and Wendy White is club president.
