Essie Flemmings Celebrates 50th Job Anniversary

Essie Flemmings recently celebrated her 50th year of employment with Sarasota Health & Rehabilitation Center in Sarasota. Essie began working at Sarasota Health right after graduating from Sarasota High School in 1976. She works as a dietary aide and says she has enjoyed her job all these years. “I really like what I do,” she said, “I just kept going every day and now it’s 50 years later! I’ve been blessed to get up every day and go to work to a job that I love.”

Essie celebrated this milestone with a party hosted by Sarasota Health & Rehabilitation with administrators, coworkers and family in attendance. Essie is a native of Sarasota and attends TruVine Missionary Baptist Church. She says she has no plans to retire any time soon.
