2025 Sarasota 80’s CLASS REUNION WEEKEND

Newtown Classes from the 1980s held their reunion this past weekend bringing together classmates and friends from the class of 1980 to the class of 1989. The weekend activities began on Friday, August 15th with a meet and greet fish fry at Longwood Run Park. The signature event was the Black Prom on Saturday, August 16th. Over 100 classmates, guests and friends attended the black, white and gold semi-formal event at the Potter Building at the

Sarasota Fairgrounds. The weekend activities ended on Sunday with a community fellowship church service at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Tallevast where Class of 1984 member, Rev. Frank Watson, is the pastor.
