Palmetto Youth Center Holds Mother’s Day Brunch

The Palmetto Youth Center hosted their second annual Mother’s Day Brunch on Monday, May 1st. Over _______ were in attendance for the occasion to salute and recognize mothers in the community. The brunch was co-hosted by Empath Health who shared the many services available to community residents including Empath Life and Empath Tidewell Hospice.

Special awards were presented to the youngest and oldest mothers, mother with the most children and mother of the year. Speakers included Albert McIntosh, Affinity and Susie Copeland, who shared information of community services and activities. PYC program director Leslie Smith gave an overview of PYC activities. Remarks were given by PYC director, Reggie Bellamy.
