Ollie K. Adams Celebrates 40 Years of Service in Music

A Lady and her Music: Ollie K. Adams. It was a celebration of 40 years of service in the music industry on November 15th when the community and family and friends of Ollie K. Adams came together to celebrate her special birthday. Churches, choirs and groups that Adams played for over the years were present as were former students who gave testimonials of the impact Adams had on them on their musical journey.

The capacity crowd enjoyed music from the Voices of Praise of Bethel CME Church, the Sara-Mana Community Choir, saxophone solo by Rev. Dr. John W. Walker, Jr., a solo by Randi Jackson and reflections and words of encouragement by guests. Adams is the minister of music at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Bradenton.
