TEMPO NEWS TO CELEBRATE 2020 GRADUATES
With high school and college graduation ceremonies canceled, altered or postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Class of 2020 is unfortunately missing out on significant events in their high school career. No prom, no grad night and their graduations will look different this year. They will close their high school careers with virtual celebrations, foregoing final memories and in-person goodbyes. Even though they may not be able to gather in person, that does not diminish the great accomplishments of our graduates.
Over the next few weeks, Tempo News will celebrate the Class of 2020. If your son, daughter, grandchild or a student you know is graduating, please send the following information to us for publication in an upcoming edition:
Student’s name; high school; high school activities from 9th to 12th grades, including sports, clubs, organizations, etc.; his or her plans after graduation: college, military, trade school or work force. Please include a senior or cap and gown picture. The picture cannot have a watermark overlay; individual photos are recommended as opposed to group shots. Please send information to cshoward1@verizon.net. Please include your contact information – name and phone number – in the event contact is necessary.
Being a high school graduate is not the end but a new beginning of many more achievements of our students. Class of 2020: We Salute You!
