BOOKER MIDDLE BOYS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP

            The Booker Middle School Boys Basketball team won the Sarasota County Middle School Boys League for the 2022-2023 season.  The team went undefeated with an 11-0 record.  The boys defeated Heron Creek Middle School in the championship game.  Other teams in the league were Venice, McIntosh, Laurel, Woodland, Pine View, Brookside, Oak Park and Sarasota.

Team players were Michael Peterson, Anquan Polynice, Jeremy Irizary, Jay Hoffman, Keston Campbell, Kaiden Wright, Tayshawn Keno, Jalen Byrd, Terrell Blanc, Deion Hubbard, Jeremiah Ginyard, Nehemiah Bell, Micah Tilghman and Ronald Bowens.

James Ward is coach of the Booker Middle boys and game day assistants were Coaches Daniels and Polynice.
