AA HUNTER COMES HOME; YES, IT’S A MIRACLE!

Aaron Hunter III was playing with friends in a neighbor’s backyard less than a block from his house when he was struck by a bullet in back of his head on June 22nd. It was expected that he was looking at being in the hospital for six months to a year. That changed on Monday when “Lil AA”, as he is known, was released from All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. “Yes, it was a MIRACLE,” his great-uncle, Daniel Engram said.

“The doctors were unsure about his prognosis and said the first 72 hours were critical,” Engram said. “But we know that God is a miracle worker, and we’re fortunate that we’re not planning a funeral.”

Engram says Lil AA is a good kid who attends Brookside Middle School. “He is at home now and will have to do therapy at least three times a week at All Children’s Hospital,” Engram said, “and there will be future surgeries as well as being on medication for awhile. But we are truly blessed and look forward to Lil AA progressing everyday.”

Aaron is the son of Erica Dorsey and Aaron Hunter, Sr.
