AKA HEALTH FAIR SET FOR NOVEMBER 4TH
“Soar into Wellness” will be the theme when Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Lambda Omicron Omega Chapter, hosts their health expo. The event will be held on Saturday, November 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Booker Middle School, 2250 Myrtle Avenue in Sarasota.
There will be free workshops and health screenings, blood pressure and glucose checks, dental checks, mammograms, and flu shots. You must be 18 years or older and must bring your insurance information for the flu shot.
Soar into Wellness is a free, community event, designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, prevent and manage disease and connect participants to other resources. Raffles and free giveaways will be available.
