Battie, Alpert, Arroyo win City Commission seats

Sarasota, FL:  Kyle Scott Battie, Liz Alpert and Erik “E” Arroyo have been elected to serve four-year terms on the City Commission, based on unofficial results from Tuesday’s general election.  The commissioners-elect will be sworn into office at the City Commission’s statutory meeting scheduled for noon Friday, Nov. 6, at City Hall, 1565 First St.  To view agendas and details for upcoming meetings of the City Commission or other City boards or committees, visit www.SarasotaFL.gov and click “Meetings/Agendas/Video.” City Commission meetings can be viewed there via live stream or on Access Sarasota television (Comcast channel 19, Frontier channel 32).  Unofficial results from Tuesday’s voting, as reported on the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections website, www.SarasotaVotes.com, are as follows:  District 1
