BHS GIRLS BASKETBALL HOLD BANQUET

Booker High School’s girls basketball held their end-of-the-year banquet at Stonewood Grill & Tavern on University last week. The Lady Tornadoes ended their season with a 21-7 record, winning their district championship. The team made it to Regionals, losing to Southeast High School by one point. The Lady Tornadoes lost three players to graduation, Kaitlin Bell, Chellesy Foster and Kaliyah Newell. Be sure to check the team out this upcoming season. Shantia Grace is the head coach and Stone Hollaway and Tyree Sumpter are assistant coaches.
