Booker High School Athletes College Ready

BHS football, basketball and track athletes showed their intent for continued success during May signing ceremonies in Tornado Alley. Graduating seniors Jordan Clark, Bryson Gregory, Joshua Ogden and Johnnie Williams, IV will take their places at post-secondary institutions. Each has proven to be “college and career ready.” Jordan Clark, BHS shooting guard, heads to State College of Florida. Running back and defensive end Bryson Gregory plans to major in forensic science at Lindenwood University in Belleville, Illinois. 200 & 400-meter runner Joshua Ogden was recruited by William Penn University in Iowa, where he will major in exercise science. Shooting guard Johnnie Williams, IV has been accepted at the prestigious Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut. Wrestler Dakarai Rivers has been accepted by the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. Antrone Smith will play football for Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. BHS basketball players Aaron Robinson and Zacquary Smith head to Aim High Academy in Farmington Hills, Michigan. All athletes were celebrated by family, coaches, friends and BHS athletic staff.
