Booker High School Leads The Way
Over 150 cadets from the Booker High School JROTC program proudly commemorated Martin Luther King Day by leading the annual Unity March. Athletes from the boys and girls’ basketball teams, cheerleaders and BHS staff joined the walk from the Robert L. Taylor Community Center to Martin Luther King Park in a show of community solidarity. The cadets were led by Sergeant First Class (Retired), Special Forces Army Instructor John Ledbetter and Captain Jason Dudley, BHS JROTC Instructor.
