Second Chance Last Opportunity Announces Back to School Extravaganza & Charity Fundraiser
A Community Celebration Providing School Supplies, Health & Wellness Education, Family Resources, and Fun for All Ages
Sarasota, FL — Second Chance Last Opportunity (SCLO) is proud to announce its annual Back to School Extravaganza & Charity Fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 2727 Veronica H. Allen Place, Sarasota, FL 34234.
This exciting community event will bring together hundreds of children and families for a day of school readiness, health and wellness education, community engagement, and family fun. Designed to help children begin the new school year with confidence, the event will also connect families with valuable community resources and programs that promote long-term success and well-being.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of free activities and services, including:
• Free backpacks and school supplies (while supplies last)
• Community Resource & Vendor Fair
• Health and wellness education sessions
• Information on local community programs and supportive services •Educational workshops and family resources
• Free haircuts for children
• Bounce houses
• Games and prizes
• Food vendors and refreshments
• Live entertainment
• Children’s activities throughout the day Throughout the event, local businesses, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, churches, schools, and community agencies will provide information on health, mental wellness, youth development, education, financial empowerment, family services, employment resources, and other programs that strengthen individuals and families.
The Back to School Extravaganza also serves as a charity fundraiser benefiting Second Chance Last Opportunity’s year-round programs, including emergency food assistance, youth development, life skills education, counseling, crisis intervention, family support services, and community outreach.

SCLO is inviting businesses, nonprofit organizations, churches, healthcare providers, educational institutions, civic groups, and community agencies to participate as exhibitors. Organizations are encouraged to host a booth, share information about their programs and services, distribute educational materials, provide family-friendly activities or giveaways, and connect directly with families throughout the community.
Booth space is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
