Stephanie Wynn To Host Author’s Workshop

Are you an aspiring writer? Do you lack the necessary tools and resources needed to establish your business as an author? Meet Stephanie A. Wynn, a local published author of the book entitled “ReadiSet Go! A Simple Guide to Establishing a Successful Small Business.: Wynn will be hosting her first annual Author’s Ambition “The Business of Becoming An Author” workshop on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the world renowned Poynter Institute for Media Studies, 801 7th Street South in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is an exclusive workshop for aspiring and existing authors. Spaces are limited and registration begins at 9:00 a.m. A complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided.

“My goal is to provide aspiring and existing authors with the necessary tools and resources needed to establish their author business,” Wynn said. “I have partnered with Microsoft to also provide small business technology solutions,” she said. The workshop will educate aspiring and existing authors on becoming an “Author-preneur.”

Attendees will receive knowledge on the key components of the business of becoming an author and will be able to catapult their author business by receiving useful tools and resources to aid in the process. To achieve these goals, attendees will have access to the expertise of Wynn and other guest speakers including philanthropist, Charles Price, speaker, author and founder of “Your Spark 42”, Jeffrey White, author and freelance writer, and ghost writer, Ben Simpson of Mascot Books, and Jessica LeeAnn, author, literary coach and founder of Chocolate Readings. Some of the topics to be covered at the workshop include: The Perfect Place To SucceedPersonal Positioning To Progress; Writing As A Business-Generating Income As A Successful Ghostwriter; Building an Author Platform-The Importance of Distribution and Marketing; Writing A Business Plan for your book and Author Time-Management. Each attendee will be able to attend a Brunch & Learn at the Microsoft Store Saturday, August 24 from 10am-12pm at the Microsoft Store (International Plaza), 2223 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa, discussing the topic Fueling Your Business with LinkedIn:

  • Promote your professional brand;
  • Create a LinkedIn Professional Page;
  • Learn LinkedIn tools and services for marketing, & selling, hiring and learning available

Wynn has also partnered with Suncoast Credit Union to host a three series workshop discussing the topics: Finding the Balance Between Business and Marriage from An Entrepreneur Standpoint Friday, July 19, 2019, “Health Matters: Addressing Health Concerns as an Entrepreneur” Friday, August 23, and on Friday, September 20 discussing an Organizational Chart Considerations in Your Business Model. On Sunday August 4, 2019 from 11am – 3pm, Wynn and Antwan Jennings, owner and operator of Mister’z Barber Lounge located at 6393 Dr. MLK Jr. Street North in St. Petersburg, have partnered together and will be giving away free haircuts and backpacks to the kids in the St. Petersburg area.
