Aaron L. Randall, Sr. was Inducted into The Grambling Legends Sports Hall of Fame

Aaron L. Randall, Sr. was inducted into the Grambling Legends Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026 at a ceremony held on July 11th. Randall was recognized for his outstanding achievements, his legacy in baseball, and his lifelong commitment to service and excellence. Randall was part of an elite class of eight distinguished inductees whose contributions shaped the tradition of Grambling State University athletics.

Randall attended Grambling in 1971 after being drafted out of high school by the New York Mets. During his collegiate career, he excelled as a three-year starter, playing first base and pitching. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs organization and spent six seasons in professional baseball. After his baseball career ended in 1979, he worked for nearly 30 years with the Florida Department of Corrections, retiring as a Senior Supervisor in Probation and Parole.

Randall is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He and his wife, Barbara, have three children, all graduates of Grambling, with eight family members attending the university.
