Fun Day at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church
It was a day of fun at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church on Saturday, June 10th when Dove Bible Club came to Sarasota. The Family Fun Day was open to the community who enjoyed a day of games, music, singing, dancing, prizes and food. Nearly 60 kids had an amazing day of learning and sharing about Jesus Christ. Dove Bible Club is an after-school bible club that teaches character education based on the life of Jesus Christ for students in K-6 grade. Its mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ in schools and in our communities. It was founded by Loretta Dozier, a native Floridian who lives in Miami.
The fun and learning continued on Sunday when lessons were reviewed and reinforced. The kids also enjoyed Bible Jeopardy, culminating an engaging, exciting and spectacular weekend.
Event coordinators for the day were Shirley Howard and Charley Campbell. Rev. Alvin Tyson is Pastor. Shiloh is located at 3099 N. Osprey Avenue.
