SARASOTA ALUMNI CHAPTER OF KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY INSTALLS NEW OFFICERS

Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. recently elected and installed their new officers for the coming year. Each year during the month of June, over 900 Chapters around the world in the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity carry out the long-standing tradition of the installation of their newly elected officers, a tradition that has been reenacted since 1911. Officers who will serve the Sarasota Chapter are Aaron Randall II, Polemarch, Roderick Martin, Vice Polemarch, Carl Willis, Keeper of Exchequer, Carey McCoy, Keeper of Records and Fred Williams, Strategus. Board members are Nate Simmons, Kevin Garcia and Henry Blyden. The Sarasota Alumni Chapter also rededicated themselves to the vi sion and purpose of the Fraternity in a solemn ceremony at the Steve L. Lewis Community Center. The newly elected Polemarch said

“Our organization is committed to helping make our community a better place for all, with special emphasis and focus on our youth,” he said. “Our goal in the coming year will be to impact as many young people as possible through our development programs, knowledge and skill building seminars, and providing scholarships to help our youth matriculate to universities around the country”.
