STEVE LEWIS HONORED BY PIRATES/MARAUDERS

The Pittsburg Pirates/ Bradenton Marauders hosted its annual Military Appreciation Night STEVE LEWIS HONORED on Saturday, June 2nd.

Sixteen local veterans were honored on the field by having their biographies announced and were presented with plaques and a card set that highlighted their individual contributions and accomplishments as military veterans. Steve Lewis, who served in the U.S. Army, was one of the honorees. Mr. Lewis was assigned to the U.S. 9th Calvary, one of two all black Calvary units better known as the Buffalo Soldiers. He was delighted to be honored and took pictures and signed autographs with fans. A documentary, biography and small children’s book is in the works for Mr. Lewis which is being managed by Producer Ralph Barnette and Executive Producer Keenan Wooten.
